Nancy is passionate about training therapists and also believes we can only take our clients as far as we have been, meaning therapists need to do their own work.\u00a0 It is important to note that learning EMDR does not necessarily make you a competent trauma therapist. One needs ongoing specialized training in trauma and dissociation to continue building skills as a trauma therapist.
